Donald James West, 77, of Millsboro passed away peacefully on Saturday October 3, 2020 in his home with his family by his side.
He was born June 10, 1943 in Millsboro the son of the late James Donald and Mary Elizabeth Nixon West.
Rev. West was a Baptist Preacher for more than 35 years and preached at Vestaburg Missionary, Bible Baptist in Uniontown and Millsboro Baptist church for the past three years.
Monessen Steel Company employed him as a Steel Worker for thirty-two years until his retirement.
He enjoyed camping and was a car enthusiast.
On August 21, 1964 in Harbor Light Chapel in Uniontown, he married Patricia Bowser who survives.
Surviving are his Children; Gene West of Republic, Dawn Yonick of Millsboro, Mark (Nikkie) West of Millsboro, Heather West of Florida, Shelby (Matthew) McVicker of Millsboro, Abigail (Will O.Neal) West of Millsboro and Susan Debolt of Carmichaels; his foster kids Butch and Kim Mullen of Virginia, Patricia Dick of Uniontown and Romona Ewing of Monessen.
Also surviving are his brothers and sisters; Robert Fowler of Rosco, Donna (Mick) Marks of Michigan, and Sam Harden of Uniontown; fifty two grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Mr. West was preceded in death by children; Tom and Kathy Combs, Robert West, Larry Kelly, James West, and Marie Kelley; brothers Joe Harden, and Charles “Jim”, and his sisters-in-law Betty Harden, Dorothy Harden, and Karen West.
All arrangements are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
